He is survived by: his children, Shawn Lewis Sr. and Jennifer Ligon (Joel); his grandchildren, Shawn Lewis Jr., Stephon Lewis (Sarah), Elijah Ligon and Gabriel Ligon; his great grandchildren, Sheyanne Lewis, Justin Lewis and Graham Brown-Lewis; his sister Sharon Asher (Lewis); his nephew Ron Asher (Shawna); and his nieces, Margo Montgomery (Asher) and Jamie Todd.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
