She was predeceased by: her parents, Eino Niskanen and Bianca Niskanen; her daughter Dawn Duvall; and her brother Dennis Niskanen. She is survived by: her children, Jackie Duvall, Amira Awad Shannon (Dominick Shannon), Suzy Awad Johnson (Brandon Johnson) and Joe Awad (Veronica Awad); and her friend Larry. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dougherty Funeral Home (600 E 2nd St, Duluth, MN 55805). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
