He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Granley and Frances Granley (Brophy); and his brother Dale Granley. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Chris Granley (Marcia) of Boyceville, WI, Sarah Peterson (Jaye) and Jered Granley (Mindy) of Duluth, MN.; his grandchildren, Lynnsey Blaser (Brett), Lucy Peterson, Jake Granley, Charlie Peterson, Everett Granley and Isaak Granley; and his great grandchildren, Ella and Rhett Blaser. He is also survived by several extended family members and special friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are welcome to be made to the Cloquet Public Library or Aspirus St. Luke's Oncology in Duluth.
