It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Maybelle Collins of Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Moe and Simon Moe; her husband John; and her siblings, Florence Anderson (Moe) and Maurice Moe.
She is survived by: her children, Christine (Russell Kohnken), Paul (Marian) and David (Jill); her grandchildren, Grant (Courtney), Evan (Jennie Harrington), Rebecca Kohnken (Josh Heise), Philip Kohnken (Kelly), Nicole and Mariah; and her great grandchildren, Ty, Holly Kohnken, Henry, Eleanor Heise, Asher and Adalyn Collins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (1100 E Superior St, Duluth, MN 55802). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to First Lutheran Church Foundation or to Second Harvest Northland.
