He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Ferrari Red; his sons, James (Laurie) and Thomas (Cathi); his granddaughter Nicole (Matt); his great grandchild Maxwell; his grandson Timothy (Kelly); and his sister Lois Lapp.

In 2020, their youngest son Tom and his wife Cathi moved to Sandstone to be near them and during Covid they made wonderful memories of cooking and playing cards together.
