It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennis J. Hackett of Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosemary Hackett and Archie Hackett; his sister Janet of Wahkon, MN; his sister-in-law Barb; and his close friend Marian Rotondi.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jerry Hackett and Diane Peterson (Rick); and his close friend Mary Ann Rotondi. He is also survived by Several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dougherty Funeral Home (600 E 2nd St, Duluth, MN 55805). A rosary will be held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. James Church (721 N 57th Ave W, Duluth, MN 55807).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Dennis J. Hackett Scholarship Fund at St. James School.
