He is survived by: his wife Marlene Malzac; his brother Walter Sipila; his children, Julie Lambert (Robert), Deborah Specht (John) and Katri Sipila; and his grandchildren, Brenda, Stephen, Allison, Zil, Rachel, Peter, Juniper, Nathan, Calliope, Jaz, Lief, Leo, Sage and Marissa. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
