It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Bruce Nimz of Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to David Bruce's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration David Bruce has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Nimz and Dorothy Nimz (Bielke); and his wife Rita Poeske. He is survived by: his children, Reid (Summer) and Abbie; his grandchildren, Eddie, Edith Nimz and Anna Roux; his sister Debbie Tetzlaf (Dale); and his pet Maggie.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dougherty Funeral Home (600 E 2nd St, Duluth, MN 55805).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to The Nature Conservancy - Minnesota Chapter.
