David Allen Mattson Obituary

In loving memory of David Allen Mattson (Duluth, Minnesota), who departed this world on December 16, 2024 at the age of 76. David Allen leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Mattson and Lorraine Jeanetta; his stepfather Joe Jeanetta; and his sister Jackie Jeanetta. He is survived by: his wife Rhobley Mattson; his daughters, Julie Dotzenrod (Kevin), Tasha Gaidis (Kent), Kristina Lillo (TJ) and Heather Olson (Jeremy); his siblings, Corey Jeanetta (MaryEllen), Charmaine Nyman, Joe Jeanetta (Joan), Paul Jeanetta (Lisa), Patrick Jeanetta (Diane), Mary Jeanetta and Tony Jeanetta (Beth); and his grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Luke, Lacy, Derek, Tyler, Bradley, Brooke, Jer Jr., Audrey, Ava and Alexis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Duluth Power Squadron, Veterans, Red Cross or a charity of choice in David's memory.
