Danny Kenneth Tanner Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Kenneth Tanner of Duluth, Minnesota, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marilyn Rose Grabosky Oppel and Thomas Joseph Harris; his stepfather Ralph Tanner; his brothers, Terry and David Tanner; and his daughter Julie Ann Tanner Fischer.

He is survived by: his wife Valerie Brady; his children, Holly Tanner, Michelle Mariska (Andy) and Dan Tanner (Stephanie); his son-in-law Chris Fischer (Kelly); and his siblings, Gary Tanner (Debbie), Dennis Castellini (Khai), Ron Castellini (Peggy), Steven Oppel, Debbie Ondrisek (Richard), Sharon Castellini and Darlene Daugaard. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and Lily, the golden retriever.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Clyde Iron Works (2920 W Michigan St, Duluth, MN 55806). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
