She was predeceased by: her husband John; her parents, Clarence Smith and Blanche Smith; her siblings, Ralph Smith, Richard Smith and Shirley Boughton; her grandson Thomas B. Dougherty; and her daughter-in-law Susan Moyer.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Beth, Kay, Thomas Moyer (Diane), Golden Valley, Mary Dougherty (Tom), Duluth, Katherine Bloom (Steve), Paul Moyer, Martha Wagoner (Bob), Scottsdale and Ariz. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations can be made to the charity of your choice, or to one of the many that she supported: Solvay Hospice House, Junior League of Duluth, Duluth Symphony Orchestra, Essentia Health Foundation or Friends of the Duluth Public Library.
