He is survived by: his wife Hannah Rae; his children, Scott (Cindy), Gregg (Ann) and Lisa (Paul); his grandchildren, Preston Hedlund (Alli), Kaitlin, Alena, Nolan, Lindsay Strahan, Andrew and Kevin Hedlund; his great grandchildren, Liam and Theo Hedlund; his siblings-in-law, Mary and Lew Lampert; his cousin JoAnne Wilson; his niece Elizabeth Nirenstein (David); and his nephew Mark Lampert (Renee).
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to First United Methodist Church (The Coppertop) or a charity of the donor's choice.
