Alice Hansen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Hansen (Duluth, Minnesota), who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nikolai Nilsen and Ruth Nilsen; her husband Kenneth M. Hansen; and her siblings, Audrey and Byron.
She is survived by: her brother Lloyd Nilsen of Deerfield Beach, FL; her children, David Hansen (Jody) of Maple Grove, MN, Karen Garthus (Ron) of Duluth and Gary Hansen (Neta) of Lubbock, TX.; her grandchildren, Chad Hinnenkamp, Jasen Elcombe, Adam Richard, Nora Johnson, Kathryn Hartman and Clayton Hansen; and her great grandchildren, Edrick, Freya, Leo, Chase, Parker and Lyla.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the God Lutheran Church (2431 W 3rd St, Duluth, MN 55806).
In lieu of Flowers, memorials preferred to Spirit of God Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
