He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Thesing and Gertrude Thesing (Boehm); his wife Mavis Unnasch; his son Edward; his granddaughter Brittney Fuchsel; his siblings, Rudy, Roy Thesing, Esther Mc Collum and Delores Demorest; his great grandchild Evelyn Thesing; and his son-in-law Todd Michaels.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Thesing (Kelly) of Brownsville, MN, Debbie Fuchsel (Dan) of La Crescent, MN., Tami Michaels of La Crescent, MN., Randy Thesing (Sue) of Houston, MN., Mark Thesing (Lori) of La Crescent, MN., Cari Stremcha (Brian) of Nodine, MN., Lori Elton (Todd) of Chandler, OK., Dan Thesing (Pam) of La Crescent, MN. and Jim Thesing; his sister Joyce Clements; and his sister-in-law Sharon (Ken Spaulding). He is also survived by thirty-one grandchildren, fifty-nine great-grandchildren.
