She was predeceased by: her parents, John Murphy and Cecelia Murphy (Zimmer); her husband Loren Howerton; and her siblings, John, Robert, Francis, Hugh, Donald Murphy and Cecelia Vartmann (Wally).
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Murphy, Carol Shimshak (Paul) of Dresbach, MN and Greg Howerton of Dresbach; her grandchildren, Stephen Shimshak, Aubrey Howerton, Lindsay Killilea and Taylor Killilea; and her great grandchildren, Leonel and Lauren Shimshak.
