She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Garness and Bonnie Garness (Schuster); and her granddaughter Jaelyn Laue. She is survived by: her husband Donald Rongve; her children, Jennifer Melder (Scott), Melissa Rongve, Kristina Sorum (Eric) and Daniel Rongve; her grandchildren, Deric Melder (Jocelyn), Devon Melder, Alexis Melder, Austin Melder, Trey Theobald, Hanna Sorum, Camden Sorum, Brady Rongve, Kendall Sorum and Bonnie Rongve; and her siblings, Steve Garness (Shari), Dan Garness (Sara), Bill Garness (Tami) and Linda Garness.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church (12 2nd St NW, Dodge Center, MN 55927).
