She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Petersen and LaVanche Petersen (Broden); her husband Lowell; her grandson Sheen Martin; her sister Clarette Johnson; her brothers-in-law, Roger Johnson, Dale Poffenberger, Frank Barnes and Larry Johnson; her nephews, Kevin Johnson and Dan Dressen; her niece Maria Lemley; and her great-niece Emilee Olson.
She is survived by: her sons, Erik Martin (Junko) of Rosemount, MN and Earl Martin (Jocelyn Mason) of Thousand Oaks, CA; her grandchildren, Emika (Kori Battista), Arthur (Amanda Kirberger), Nathaniel and Teresa Martin; her sisters, Dorothy Poffenberger of Detroit Lakes, MN, Janice Lemley (John) of Bakersfield, CA, Kathie Barnes of Crookston, MN, Elaine Erdahl (Larry) of Fertile, MN, Sharon Olson (Gary) of Lindenhurst, IL and Shirley Dalgaard (Peter) of Blaine, MN; her sister-in-law Janet Johnson of Rochester, MN; and her nieces and nephews, Debbie Dressen, Gary Johnson (Renee), Joey Devitt (Mike), Terri Hutchinson (David), Traci Olson (Charlie), Jay Poffenberger (Amber), Jon Poffenberger (Karen), Marlana Lemley, Brian Carlson (Susan), Lori Carlson, Jana Hedland (Paul), Alicia Schumacher (Cory), Katie Kern (Matt), Kent Erdahl (Erin), Ranelle Block (Pat), Bobby Olson (Dana), Nathan Olson (Sara), Nina Fisk (Matt) and Peter Dalgaard Jr. (Mallory). She is also survived by several cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church ~ Dodge Center (308 2nd St NW, Dodge Center, MN 55927). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
