With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Joan Gilliland of Dodge Center, Minnesota, born in Knox, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2024 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Edward and Thelma Mae Bennett; her husband Robby Gilliland; her daughter Jayne; and her siblings, Chester Edward Bennett Jr., Beverly Minix and Betty Osterreicher.
She is survived by: her sons, Bennett (Pamela) of Dodge Center, MN and William (Kathleen Uhl) of Selbyville, DE; her grandchildren, Eric Hoffmann (Jodi), Hillary Laue (Cody), Robby Gilliland (Courtney), Carly Petterson (Adam), Sydney Gilliland, Abby Gilliland and Kelsey Leo (Sean Reilly); and her siblings, Bernice Koby and Norman Bruce Bennett. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Dodge County Historical Society or Dodge Center United Methodist Church.
