Marie Zimmer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2023, at the age of 98, Marie Zimmer of Dilworth, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Doman and Emma Doman (Gienger); her daughter Barbara; her husband Urban; her son-in-law Robert VanDyken; her great grandchild Caleb VanDyken; her stepson Maurice Zimmer (Iris); her brothers, Ivan Doman (Connie) and Richard Doman; and her brother-in-law Lloyd Burfiend.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Johnson (William) of Hawley, MN.; her grandchildren, Lisa VanDyken, Eric VanDyken (Kim), Bret VanDyken (Katie), Lori VanDyken, Shireen Regier (Harley) and Sheridan Johnson (Aimee Miles); her stepgrandchildren, Mark Zimmer (Marilyn), Judy Baker (Don), Jane Zimmer, Anne Frakes (Kevin) and Sarah Gillen (Norm); her great grandchildren, Isaac Regier, E. J. VanDyken, Kolden Johnson, Brady, Lincoln Miles, Kayla VanDyken, Emma Johnson, Skylar and Harper VanDyken; her stepgreat-granddaughter Emily Gillen; her siblings, Helen Burfiend, Harvey Doman (Lynette), Marge DeFries (Harrell), Connie Milbrath (Aldon) and Walter Doman (Annette); and her sister-in-law Eunice Doman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Serenity or to Hospice of the RRV.
