She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Schieffer and Regina Schieffer (Bieringer); her husband Alton Kemmer; her son Jerry Kemmer; her granddaughter Amanda Kemmer; her siblings, Ed Schieffer, Roger Schieffer and Alvina Erickson; and her sisters-in-law, Lila Horhmann and Louise McGlothlin.
She is survived by: her children, Alton, Lorraine, Peggy Horowitz (Thom) of Los Angeles, CA, Pat Kemmer (Cheryl) of Dent, MN, Leland "Babe" Kemmer (Patricia) of Fargo, ND, James Kemmer (Beth) and Debbie Kemmer (Dale) of West Fargo, ND; her daughter-in-law Jill Kemmer; and her sisters, Marge Duncan (John) of Bluffton, MN and Marilyn Trout (Richard) of Wadena, MN.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren.
