She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Bymoen and Josephine Bymoen (Anderson); and her siblings, Delores Krabbenhoft and Darrel Bymoen. She is survived by: her husband Anthony Karppinen; her daughter Kathleen Zins (Darin); her granddaughter Emily Rose of Lisbon, ND; and her pet Gracie.
For a time, she made and donated prayer shawls for those who needed comfort and healing for Trinity Lutheran Church in Sabin.
