It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Yvonne Herk of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, born in Langdon, North Dakota, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon McLeod and Ruby McLeod (Thompson); her son Allen Sandvig; her siblings, Deloris Heckel and Eugene McLeod; and her granddaughter Jessie Sandvig.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Herk; her pet Zoey; her daughters, Tammy Schindler (Tim) of Grafton and Debbie Marty (Les) of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota; her stepsons, Calvin Herk of Finley, Cameron Herk (Lisa) of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota and Kevin Herk (Jane) of Horace; her stepfather Lloyd Foisie of Walhalla; and her brothers, Arnold McLeod (Ida) of Wadena, Robert McLeod of Grand Forks and Daryl McLeod (Lois) of Hannah. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter.
