He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Johnson and Shirley Johnson (Hanks). He is survived by: his close friend Kay Parker; his nieces, Sherri Johnson of Shoreham, MN and Angie Burnside (Richie) of Hawley, MN; and his nephew James "Jim" Johnson Jr. of Hawley, MN.
