He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joy and Thora Joy (Thorson); his siblings, William Joy and Eileen Henderson; his siblings-in-law, Donald Wirtz, William Henderson, Keith Bellefeuille and June Joy; his son Samuel Duane Joy; his daughter-in-law Pam Joy; his granddaughter Gina Summers; and his great grandchild Jude Sandberg Summers.
He is survived by: his wife Jayne Crawford March; his children, Sharon Spiess (Robert) of Detroit Lakes, MN, John Joy of Hawley, MN, William Joy (Barb) of Detroit Lakes, MN, Lori Joy (Rich Boll) of Vergas, MN and Nancy Karst (Butch Dost) of Frazee, MN; and his siblings, Leatrice Wirtz of Detroit Lakes, MN, Ronald Joy of Detroit Lakes, MN and Natalie Bellefeuille of Detroit Lakes, MN. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren & many nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers Wilbur would prefer memorials to the Becker County Museum & Hospice of the Red River Valley.
