It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wayne Darrell Olson (Detroit Lakes, Minnesota), who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willis Olson and Renilda Olson (Eitel); his wife Corene Christiansen; his siblings, Wendell Olson and Renae Olson; his children, Krista Wacker (Don), Karla Weum (Jason) and Brett (Jaime Korynta); and his grandchildren, Madison Olson, Jaxon, Emma Weum and Torie Wacker.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church (20996 Co Rd 20, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Michael J Fox Parkinson's Foundation, Hospice, or a charity of your choice are preferred.
