It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vicki Jane Sternberg (Detroit Lakes, Minnesota), born in White Earth, Minnesota, who passed away on March 10, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Fairbanks and Marie Fairbanks; and her siblings, Robert Fairbanks, Virgil Fairbanks, James Fairbanks, Gordon Henry, Joseph Fairbanks, Charles Fairbanks, Lavaun Henry, Angeletta Ross, Rena Vizenor Malone, Verna Jorgenson, Veronica Fairbanks and Florence Fairbanks.
She is survived by: her husband Roger; her children, Brian Sternberg of Detroit Lakes and Traci Sternberg (Jared) of Frazee, MN; her grandchildren, Lindsey Sternberg of Fargo, ND and Conner Pariseau of Frazee; and her siblings, Paulette Molin (Larry), Karen Fairbanks of Burlington, KY, Margaret Eischens (Steve), Tim Fairbanks (Bobby), Pamela Fairbanks (Ron), William Henry (Judy), Joyce Yellowhammer (Walter), Joann Peters (Don), Thomas Burns Fairbanks (Sue) and Betty Chevalier of Blaine, MN.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The family would appreciate contributions in Vicki's name to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, the Lustgarten Foundation, or related organizations that work to combat pancreatic cancer.
