It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Medaris of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on November 18, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert H. Medaris and Helen E. Medaris (Pearson); and her siblings, Robert L. Medaris and Diane L. Medaris. She is survived by: her sons, Richard, Larry and Ryan; and her brother David Medaris. She is also survived by three nieces and a nephew, nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
