He is survived by: his wife Danielle Brolin of Frazee; his daughter Sierra Brolin of Frazee; his siblings, Tom Brolin (Linda) of Fargo, Jackie Hurd (Tim) of Grand Rapids, Tracy Brolin of Pelican Rapids and Janie Gandy (Raymond) of Hammond, Wisconsin; his mother-in-law Paulette Stegeman (Dick) of Detroit Lakes; and his brother-in-law Vincent Meyer (Mary) of Duluth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
