He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Vogt and Mabel Vogt (Westgard); his son Darren; his stepdaughter Heidi Wischnak; his grandson Chad Bennett; his siblings, Richard Vogt, Norman Vogt, Jeanette Mayberry and Carole Olds; and the mothers of children, Helen Ness and Nancy Marjamaa.
He is survived by: his wife Vicky Vogt; his children, Diane Heer (Stacey), Gerald Vogt (Shelley), Sharon Lownik (Steve), Linda Jones, Roxanne Sonnenberg (Neil), Amanda Vogt (Jake Lunski), Kyle Vogt (Kaydie), Casey Vogt (Jessie) and Andrea Holm; and his brother George Vogt (Sylvia). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
