It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell E. Schrupp in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Schrupp and Helen Schrupp (Hesselgrave) of Swanville, MN.; his siblings, Bud, Betty and Kathleen; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Frisk (Galligher) and Ronald Galligher.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Galligher of Motley; his sister Beverly Erickson (Harold) of Carrington, ND; his sister-in-law Rae Lorene Schrupp of Monticello, MN; his nieces and nephews, Todd (Jean Riedy) of Milbank, SD, Troy (Eliza Deery) of Gilford, NH and Tracy Johnson (Leland) of Coon Rapids, MN.; and his grandchildren, Melissa, John, Adam, Rebecca, Jack, Tessa, Cal, Anna and Emma.
