He is survived by: his former wife Betty Murray; his sons, Kevin McDonald of Detroit Lakes, MN and Keith McDonald (Teresa) of Fargo, ND; his brothers, Curt McDonald (Sherry) of Dallas, TX and Jim McDonald of Fort Worth, TX; his stepchildren, Dianne Sandsmark (Bill) of Fargo, ND, Jed Restad of Detroit Lakes, MN and Jill Restad of Detroit Lakes, MN; his granddaughter Cindy McDonald (Dillion Trudeau) of Fargo, ND; and his stepchildren, Hunter McDonald of Fargo, ND, Jessica Bentley of North Carolina, Lindsay Nerger of Seattle, WA, Ashley Drewes (John) of Frazee, MN and Ryan McDonald (Radhika) of Mount Dora, FL..
