He was predeceased by: his parents, Morrie Stone and Eunice; and his brother Roger. He is survived by: his wife Jené; his children, Geof (Gail) of Amboy, WA, Cheryl Brust (Eric) of Chelsea, MI, Peter (LoAnn) of Duluth, MN and David (Rhonda) of Blaine, MN; his grandchildren, Courtney (Aaron), Tucker (Alexandra), Mika, Zane, Laurel, Noah and Piper; his great grandchildren, Easton and Skylar; his pets, Hazel and Tron; and his brother Shriners.
On March 15, 2024, Robert Bruce Stone was laid to rest and welcomed into the mansions of the Lord after what turned out to be an onerous battle with Parkinson's Disease along with other ailments.
