It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Leitheiser of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Soland (Ole) and Lucille Soland (Lachowitzer); her husband James Leitheiser; her brother Wenzel Soland (Florence); and her siblings-in-law, Betty Becotte (Don) and Thomas Leitheiser.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Leitheiser (Sheri), Mark Leitheiser (Mary), Jane Kozitka (Walt) and Wayne Leitheiser (Sara); her grandchildren, Candace Leitheiser (Robert Korn), Nikki Lukkarinen (Eric), Cara Leitheiser, Emily Walker (Andy), Cade, Claire Leitheiser, Alysa Thompson (Corey), Justin Leitheiser, Megan Washek, Danielle Beilke (Alex) and Jordan Washek; her great grandchildren, Anya, Asher Lukkarinen, Lucy Walker, Rayne, Jayden, Paisley, Logan Thompson and Hallie Cossette; and her sisters-in-law, Pat Mastin (Virgil) and Marilyn Leitheiser.
