We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2025, at the age of 81, Paul L. Chelmo of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Chelmo and Harriet Chelmo (Knouse); his siblings, William "Bill" Chelmo (Winifred), Sidney Chelmo (Pearl), James Chelmo (Juanita), Joann Pyle (Ernie), Carol Dudley (Jerry) and Dolores Anderson (Daryl); and his sister-in-law Renee Chelmo.
He is survived by: his wife Lorena Schnitzus; his children, Lisa Snover (Jon) and Brian Chelmo (Lori); his grandchildren, Ashley Boatman (Stephen), Arron Chelmo (Karina), Olivia Snover, Warren Snover and Elyse Snover; his great grandchildren, Alexander and Theodore Boatman; his brother Jerome Chelmo (Patricia); and his siblings-in-law, Richard Schnitzus (JoAnne), Darlene Halonen and LuAnn Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
