She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandparents, Ole, Marie Gunderson, Krist and Annie Sirjord; her children, Bruce, Connie Mack (JR) of Grand Forks, ND and Sherry Morvig (David); her brothers, Lloyd Gunderson, Robert Gunderson (Doreen), Harlow Gunderson (Cathy) and Ole Gunderson (Deanna); her husband Vernon O. Aakhus; her parents, Bennie Gunderson and Louise Gunderson (Sirjord); her grandson Brian Mack; her sister-in-law Eunice Gunderson; and also, Bruce Aakhus (Mary Ellen) of Fertile, MN and Mark Aakhus (Teresa) of Roosevelt, NJ. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
