He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Aus and Vivian Aus (Henningsgard); his siblings, Kenneth Henningsgard (Eleanor) and Marlene Siedschlag (Doug); his children, Nichelle Aus, Rick Rasmussen and Joey Rasmussen; his son-in-law Greg Schatzke; and his great grandchildren, Areana and Ericka Sander.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne (Bartelson) of Kindred; his children, Vernon Aus (Karen) of Sanborn, ND, Mary Lynn Berntson (Durwin) of Valley City, ND, Margaret "Peggy" Neff (Steve) of Mandan, ND, Michael Aus (Jenae) of Durango, CO, Melissa Aus of Moorhead, MN, Milton Jr. Aus (Andrea) of Mandan, ND, Mary Bryngelson (Jack) of Callaway, MN, Debra Schatzke of Fargo, ND, Jeff Rasmussen (Sue) of Barnesville, MN and Mike Rasmussen of Kindred, ND; and his brother Duane (Marty). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
