He was predeceased by: his father Merton; his brother Daniel; and his great-nephew Adam Sauvagau. He is survived by: his mother Joan Buck Sullivan of Detroit Lakes; his sister Judy Buck of Morris, MN.; his nephews, Brian, Nicolas of Mahnomen and Justin of Moorhead, MN.; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brook Lynn Buck of Detroit Lakes, Hannah of Mahnomen, Nicolas Buck of Mahnomen and Daniel Buck of Mahnomen.
