He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Wischnak and Bertha Wischnak (Kading); and his brothers, Rudy Wischnak, Hank Moltzan, Bill Moltzan, Martin Moltzan and Alfred Moltzan.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Wischnak of Frazee; his children, Sherry Wischnak (Shon Bachleitner) of Frazee and Ken Wischnak (Cindy) of Vergas; his grandchildren, Ashley, Brody and Joe; and his sister Leona Youngman of Coon Rapids.
