He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alfred "Alf" Fingalson and Mary Fingalson; his sister Barb; his brother-in-law Bob; his sister Barbara McGinley (Bob); his niece Robin (Robert); his great-niece Elina of Canada; his family Dewey; and also Dewey.

Memorials are preferred to the First Lutheran Church kitchen remodeling fund.
