Marlys Engebretson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2023, at the age of 87, Marlys Engebretson (Detroit Lakes, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Herfindahl and Olga Herfindahl (Orland Engebretson); and her brother Duane Herfindahl. She is survived by: her spouse Orland Engebretson (Ole); her siblings, Marlene Larson (Orris) of Moorhead, MN and Harlan Herfindahl (Susan) of Lake Park, MN; her children, Kari Engebretson of Big Lake, Kevin Engebretson (Suze) of Ottertail, Kelly Thomas (Guy), Kathleen Kaley (Kevin) of Brandon and Tina Kupitz (Daryl) of Onalaska, WI; and her grandchildren, Tori, Tara, Toni, Will, Rob and Emma. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
