We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2019, at the age of 82, Marlys Bodem (Detroit Lakes, Minnesota), born in Barrett, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Deb Strozyk (Rick), Rick Bodem (Laurie), Kim Davis (Guy), Todd Bodem (Kathy) and Annette Caparos (Yianny); her grandchildren, Andy, Ashley, Jacob, Kevin, Corey, Travis, Katie, Claudia, Henry, George, Oliver, Demi, Victoria and Yianny Jr; her great grandchild Kennedy; her husband Richard Bodem; her parents, Arnold Christenson and Gladys Christenson; her brothers, Harold Christenson and Mike Christenson (Joan); her brothers-in-law, Vernon Hanson and Gunnar Husby; her stepfather Clarence Bergo; and her granddaughter Cecelia Bodem.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley, 1111 US Hwy 10, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501.
