Marlene Frances Scherping Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Frances Scherping of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, who passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Blattenbauer and Edwina Blattenbauer (Spaeth); her husband Albin Scherping; and her parents-in-law, Veronica Scherping and Joe Scherping.
She is survived by: her daughters, Colleen Borgrud (Bruce) of Waubun, MN, Linda Scherping of Detroit Lakes, MN, Lori Johnson (Ron) of Honokaa, HA and Carrie Christenson (Jim) of Pelican Rapids, MN; and her brother Ken Blattenbauer (Mazie) of Callaway, MN. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
