She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Backstrom and Jennie Backstrom (Gustafson); her son Richard Orville Nodsle; her brother Lennart; her sister-in-law Dorothy Backstrom; her brother Elroy (Leone Backstrom); her in-laws, LeRoy Nodsle, Harriet Nodsle Backstrom and Duane Nodsle; and her godsons, Loren Backstrom and Tim Nodsle.
She is survived by: her children, LuAnn Ford, Renie Herbert (Kenn), Perry Nodsle (Carmen), Wayne Nodsle (Amy), Jodee Adams (Gerry) and Mark Nodsle (Natasha); her grandchildren, Joel Ford (Allison Richards), Jennie Soucheray (Bob), Andrew Herbert, Patrick Herbert (Libby Nelson), Anna, Megan and Owen Nodsle; her children, Morgan Nodsle and Calvin Nodsle (Kalley Waller); her great grandchildren, Jack, Cameron Soucheray, Audrey Jo Nelson and Jameson Herbert; and her pets, Bloomers, Poppy, Louie, Frannie, Cora, Bean, Howie, Dudley and Buster.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1401 Madison Ave, Detroit Lakes, MN 56501).
