Lyle Cornel Leegard Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2021, at the age of 81, Lyle Cornel Leegard of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton and Annie (Lee); his wife Peggy; his sister Jeanette Fingalson (Fred); and his daughter-in-law Ann Leegard.
He is survived by: his pet Jake; his children, Michael Leegard (Karen), Lynn Leegard (Al Schmidt), Suzanne Osterberg (Erik) and Michele Sagsveen (Chris); his grandchildren, Cory, Athen, Jakob, Connor, Kate and Ben; and also, Derby, Rex, Penny, Jeremy and Mitsy.
In Lyle's honor, the family is requesting memorials to First Lutheran Church where Lyle and Peggy were faithful members for decades, the Richwood Lutheran Cemetery fund or Hospice of Red River Valley in lieu of flowers.
