We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2020, at the age of 79, Loren Kermit Olson of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, born in Van Nuys, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Olson and Elsie Olson (Reese) of Detroit Lakes, MN.; and his brothers, Duane, Paul and Keith.

He is survived by: his wife Lynn (Miller); his son Eric Olson; his stepchildren, Brian McWhorter of Eugene, OR and Erin Engstrom of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Todd (Sisley Olson), Oakley (Kyla McWhorter), Van and Torin (Lyra Engstrom); and his siblings, June Knopp of Fergus Falls, MN, Sharon Davidson (Ken) of Avon Lake, OH and Harley Olson of Detroit Lakes, MN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Oly would love to have donations made to Real Life Ministries, Post Falls, in honor of all the ways they serve the community here.
