It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loren Birky (Detroit Lakes, Minnesota), born in Bancroft, Nebraska, who passed away on December 23, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Birky and Magdalena Birky (Grieser); and his siblings, Lyle Birky, Wilford Birky and Anna Zehr. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
