He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Kertscher and Anna Kertscher (Larson); his wife Patricia Kertscher; his son Bobby Kertscher; and his siblings, Ann Stanton (Tootsie), Richard "Dick" Kertscher, John Kertscher, Leonard "Bucky" Kertscher, Fredrick "Bunny" Kertscher and Lorraine "Biddy" Seim.
He is survived by: his sons, Ron Kertscher (Angelique) and Russell Kertscher (Becky); his grandchildren, Josh Kertscher (Elizabeth) and Megan Hensel (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Henry Kertscher, Charlotte Kertscher and Sophia Hensel; and his siblings, Allen Kertscher (Valorie), Elly Livingood and Fern Kane. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
