He is survived by: his children, Michael, Gary, Deborah Herfindal (Larry), Linda Branden (Richard), Teresa Hasskamp (Dennis) and Barbara Young; and his siblings, Lester, Allan (Valerie), Fern Kane and Elly Livingood. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
