He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth G. Mickelson and Merriam Mickelson (Nordlund); and his siblings, Mitchell, Michael and Kandy Wheelden.
He is survived by: his sons, Eric Mickelson (Rhoda Jackson) of Pequot Lakes, MN and Jason "Jake" Mickelson of Park Rapids, MN.; his grandchildren, Willow, Xander, Cody Mickelson and Taylor Archer (Nolan); and his great grandchildren, Elly, Bran and Dekelan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
