He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Hanson and Constance Hanson (Smith); his daughter Jean; his wife Betty; and his siblings, Carol and Bruce.
He is survived by: his children, Karen, Jay and Eric; and his grandchildren, Eric, Jay (Lisa), Karen (Byron) and Karl (Teresa). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
